Other Instructors
A multitude of Black Belts with various experiences and knowledge from the past 40 years of Wild Bunch Karate history. Every year all of the Wild Bunch Karate dojos (Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas) get together for summer camp at Stillwater and hold seminars to spread our knowledge of other martial arts styles. We believe that Tae Kwon Do and GoJu Ryu both make great karate bases, but learning other styles will make us better martial artists and better prepare us for that dreaded "What if ..." scenario that we all hope to never have to face. In addition to the various arts mentioned at the top of the page, we have studied Hawaiian Lua, Bo Staff, Nunchucks, Judo and Silat.

It is important to note that while we train in these various styles and we train with the intent of being able to defend ourselves and being better than the attacker, the one thing that we have never had in our class is a real fight between students or instructors. Martial arts is so much more that just the fighting you see in an MMA cage. It is also about self control and learning that fighting is rarely a good solution and always has some negative consequence.
